The aim of silviculture is ecosystem management of and already existing forests' enrichment, and shaping the new ones with respect of natural conditions and processes.
It is done through:
- Gradual achieving of state of dynamic balance in the forest ecosystems, particularly compatibility of forest biocenosis with biotope conditions,
- Assurance of the wood production and other sites on the basis of extended reproduction, creation of non – productive forest functions and friendly connections of the forest management with its social and economic surrounding in respect of feedback.
