NATURAL MONUMENTS

Natural monuments are single formations of living (animate) and non-living (inanimate) nature or their clumping with their special environmental, scientific, cultural, historic or landscape value and characterizing with individual features distinguishing them among other creatures, f.ex. monumental trees.

On the areas of Świebodzin Forest District 18 nature monuments are located:

- 14 single trees

- 1 erratic block

- 4 surface monuments: places of stemless carline thistle, common ivy, Krzeczków swamp, Łagów and Sulęcin yew trees. Around 157 yaw trees aged between 130 and 150 are gathered on the area of 1.66 hectares.
