Name of the completed project: Increasing retention potential and preventing floods and draughts in forest ecosystems in lowland areas

31 facilities were developed as part of the 9 tasks that the project consists of; volume of water envisaged for retention: 32,430cu.m.

The tasks:

• the task located in Bucze Forestry Authority consisted in the reconstruction of the main drainage ditch together with trenches, and the construction of a sluice
• the task located currently in Niedźwiedź Forestry Authority consists in the clearing of the ditch and construction of a sluice slowing down the drainage
• the task located in Ołobok Forestry Authority, in the meadows used for hunting purposes, consisted in clearing a ditch and construction of 3 sluices slowing down the drainage of water to Złoty Potok Lake
• construction of a minor water reservoir in Międzylesie Forestry Authority
• construction of a minor water reservoir in Toporów Forestry Authority.
• the task located in Długoszyn Forestry Authority consisted in:

o    ordering of a water source; a basin was built around the spring

o    increasing the capacity of two reservoirs

o    a sluice and a weir were built on the upper reservoir

o    a sluice was built on the lower reservoir

• a task located in Krzeczkowo Forestry Authority consisted in the construction of a ditch and two sluices slowing down the drainage into Niesłysz Lake
• another task located in Krzeczkowo Forestry Authority consisted in the clearing of the ditch, reconstruction of a culvert under the weir, construction of a weir, ford, dam, and 3 sluices, and reconstruction of a pass under a forest road
• another task located in Krzeczkowo Forestry Authority consisted in the clearing of a ditch, reconstruction of two culverts under a forest road, and construction of a sluice, and a weir dividing the ditch into northern and southern sections.
